I am Assistant Professor of Philosophy at the University of Memphis. I did my PhD at the JWG University Frankfurt am Main (supervisor: Axel Honneth), where I also worked at the Institute of Social Research. Afterwards, I did postdoctoral research at the Institute of Cognitive Science at the University of Osnabrück and at the Centre for Subjectivity Research at the University of Copenhagen. My primary areas of research are philosophy of psychiatry/mind, moral psychology, social philosophy and critical theory.
